Twila Brase, President of CITIZENS' COUNCIL ON HEALTH CARE is recognized among "the most powerful national voices on health care policy"

(Minneapolis/Saint Paul)Modern Healthcare magazine has just named Twila Brase, president of Citizens’ Council on Health Care (CCHC) as one of the “100 Most Powerful People in Healthcare.”

The 100 health care leaders were chosen from 25,700 nominations. According to Modern Healthcare, the 301 nominees with the most votes were placed on a final ballot. Nearly a half million votes were cast to select the final top 100 individuals on the list.

The first nine individuals on the list are all high-ranking government officials, topped off by President Obama, who is ranked at number one.

Twila Brase, president of CCHC, is ranked at number 75, one of only 2 individuals from Minnesota. The other, Stephen Hemsley, is President and CEO of UnitedHealth Group, is ranked at number 44.
