MDH Statements About Destroying Baby DNA
Find below the January 13, 2014 settlement press releases and the various lawsuit documents in which the Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) said they would destroy all or part of the Baby DNA bloodspot cards (specimens) and genetic test results.
The MDH press release (see below) appears to say that they will destroy all data and DNA they collected before the Supreme Court decision (genetic test results since 7/1/86 and baby DNA bloodspot cards since 7/1/97).
