The report is in. Our "Obamacare: Making Repeal a Reality" event got rave reviews. One attendee said it had a "great vibe." She described it as "fun and relaxed and important."

On September 11th, we not only raised funds for our 2015 efforts, we also celebrated CCHF's 20th anniversary with Fox New All-Star Stephen Hayes as keynote speaker. Sprinkling humor throughout his presentation, he shared important insights.

CCHF's president and co-founder, Twila Brase, thanked Martin Kellogg, who co-founded the organization with her in 1994, and their supporters "who have kept CCH Freedom on its feet, in the black and uncompromisingly and unabashedly in the fight for freedom for 20 years."

She shared highlights of CCHF success since the organization began in 1994, including helping to defeat HIPAA's National Patient ID, discovering, revealing, and fighting the secret state storage, use and sharing of newborn DNA, the 50-state health surveillance report with nearly 5000 views so far, and the Council's defeat of two Obamacare exchanges, the new SAFE HAVEN report which shares a cooperative mutual aid alternative to Big Government entitlements, and the "Obamacare Games" billboards that went viral on Facebook and Twitter.

Brase emphasized, "We focus on policy, not party. We work with anyone who supports freedom and protection of our constitutional rights and against anyone who doesn't."

About Obamacare, she said, "Some people think Obamacare cannot be repealed, but I view Obamacare as Humpty Dumpty and I am looking forward to the day when all the king's horses and all the king's men cannot put Obamacare back together again." To her surprise, midway through the revised rhyme the audience joined in and punctuated the end of it with an outburst of applause.

Stephen Hayes brought good news as well. He told guests that not only can Obamacare be repealed, "it must be repealed." And furthermore, there can be no Republican or other calls to simply "fix" Obamacare. Instead, it must fully be repealed. The audience agreed, erupting in applause.

Although President Obama proclaimed his plans to transform America, Stephen Hayes said the president may be transforming it in ways he never wanted.

Because of the economy, the loss of jobs, the IRS actions against conservatives, the public's unhappiness with Obamacare, and his many unilateral decisions, President Obama may actually be preparing the nation for a conservative comeback. Hayes was far more hopeful than two years ago when he spoke to an audience of more than 1,000 people at a Wisconsin Chamber of Commerce event. When he finished saying what he really felt - Mr. Hayes said he only says what he thinks regardless of how it's received - there was no applause. Not a sound. It was a somber moment. But today, he says he's far more optimistic.

In a surprising finale, Hayes told our guests that he hoped CCHF would invite him back for the 30th anniversary when Twila could talk about how Obamacare was repealed and Humpty Dumpty fell off the wall!

Working to make Obamacare's fall a great fall,
