CCHF’s President and Co-founder, Twila Brase, contacted Governor Newsom to urge him to veto Assembly Bill 2098 (AB-2098). This bill, if it becomes law, would deem sharing non-sanctioned Covid information to be “nonprofessional conduct,” allowing the California board of medical practice to revoke a doctor’s license to practice.

Cancer patients and their families are frequently contacted by researchers and asked for information regarding their treatment or illness. The data collected is then often complied into state registries that may be shared with the federal government or national databases. State legislators should protect the medical privacy of cancer patients and not allow their data to be shared beyond state registries without the patient's permission.

Despite a federal law that mandates that hospitals display the costs of their services and treatments to patients, less than 15% of hospitals do so. This legislation provides protections to patients who are unaware of the costs (due to a failure of the hospital to comply with price transparency laws) associated with their treatment costs.
Social determinants of health (SDOH) have begun to appear throughout health policy legislation. Viewing every facet of a person's life as a health care issue, and a reason for government intervention, is a Marxist idea that will lead to centralization of the entire economy. Incorporating SDOH into health care will also limit patient and physician freedom. Doctors may face litigation for not following SDOH-driven treatment protocols that require one-size-fits-all medical care—despite the unique needs of every patient.

It’s important to stop the viral replication stage of COVID-19, thereby avoiding the dangerous cytokine storm and the microthrombosis (mini-clots) stages. Here is a list of options for receiving early treatment, including ivermectin or hydroxychloroquine (HCQ), if an individual cannot find access to early treatment elsewhere. "Treat first. Test later. Don't wait for test results." "Delay is what's killing people." — Dr. Darrell DeMello, MD
