ST. PAUL, Minn.—The Center for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) is renaming the “Meaningful Use” program. The newly named “Promoting Interoperability” program will include revamped programs toaddress electronic health records (EHRs) interoperability, physician reporting requirements and hospital price transparency.
An invitation to the White House came last week.I accepted. On May 11, President Trump made an announcement in the Rose Garden about lowering drug prices. What do you mean when you say “Obamacare”? Since people think Obamacare is imploding, we’ve created a better way to talk it: Obamacare I, Obamacare II, and Obamacare III.
The attached is a list of all health care practitioners, including physicians, that have opted out of the Medicare program, as found in the federal Medicare participation-status database on July 5, 2016. NOTE: Physicians and others that have refused to get a National Provider ID are not included on this list.

Have you read Donald Trump’s health care plan? At first glance, there’s nothing unique about his plan. The first six points look like he picked off standard GOP health care talking points without much creative thought. Interestingly, it sounds like he has no idea we already have the Health Savings Accounts (HSAs) he’s proposing.

The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) is pushing a bill, HB 1164, which would allow it to directly gather data on families that delay or avoid vaccinations. Parents would be required to submit exemption claims directly to the government for state storage, analysis and use.

PUBLIC COMMENT SUBMITTED: CCHF opposes the "Substantiaton Requirement for Certain Contributions" Proposed Rule. The proposed rule threatens the privacy rights of individuals, as well as the constitutional rights of individuals to freedom of speech and freedom of association. This proposed rule is a step toward the expansion of government and a threat to individual rights and the vitality of the private non-profit sector.
