There are many roads to national health care. Managed care is the one America is on.
Thus, the federal government’s recent hire of Andy Slavitt to run Obamacare is very troubling. Mr. Slavitt is a managed-care executive.
Outsiders want to tie your doctor’s hands using data. A new report says health care price transparency is urgently needed to reduce health care spending. Their intention seems good, however, the data is primarily for employers, doctors, health plans and policymakers to use to restrict your health care access and choice.

It seems that every American is trackable in today’s hyper-technical society—via our cell phones and tablets, by purchases we make and through web sites we visit.

I’m not going to talk about Obama’s SOTU… except to say that I feel like I did the last time he had to get up and try to sell Obamacare to the nation: he doesn’t want to do it; he feels it’s beneath him; it’s four years after Obamacare and he’s perturbed that he still has to be marketing the law in a speech. So his comments lack passion.

They spent months telling us would never be like this. But look at what it is now and realize national health care will be just like the Obamacare Exchange debacle: Delays, denials of service, waiting lines, no one answering the phone, and a president that says, “Keep trying.”
