Employers have found an Obamacare loophole. According to ACA regulations, "minimum essential coverage" with a robust and rich set of benefits is required only for plans offered to individuals and small businesses with less than 50 employees.
How do you feel about Angelina Jolie's decision? On Monday, The New York Times published her opinion piece called, "My Medical Choice." Angelina, the popular 37-year-old actress, chose to have a double mastectomy. After three months of medical procedures to remove her breasts and perform reconstructive surgery with implants, she wrote about her prophylactic decision.
Will Obamacare Exchanges be ready? We hope not. The headline from an Exchange industry news article says, "Will HHS Stall Start of Federal Exchanges? Observers Say 'Yes,' 'No,' 'Wait Till Oct. 1" (5/2/13). There are 33 states that have refused to build (fund) a "state exchange," forcing the feds to build a "federal exchange" for them. That said, every state exchange is a federal exchange under federal control.
Tracking is a favorite federal activity. Two bills in Congress would create prescription-tracking systems, ostensibly to identify and locate counterfeit drugs: a bipartisan 85-page House bill and a bipartisan 107-page Senate bill.

Obama's sales pitch is coming - and you're paying for it. The Obama administration has inked an $8 million public relations contract to promote the health insurance exchange, which Sen. Let's talk about fish and freedom.
I recently stopped at a restaurant. Inside was a small pool with white and orange koi fish. As I came close, they stopped swimming and came to the side of the pool and started to beg. Five swishing tails. Five wide-open mouths peering up at me, sucking the air, silently asking for food.

The battle over Obamacare is bigger than health care. It's about whether we'll be a free nation of free people or whether government will rule over our lives and determine our value. Three years after Obama's health reform bill became the so-called "law of the land," it's nowhere close to being accepted as such. The average of three polls taken between June and November 2012 shows 50.3% of Americans support repeal and only 44.3% oppose repeal. This is good news!
