ASK CONGRESS: Request that the U.S. Senate and U.S. House (in the pending appropriations bill) maintain the prohibition on funding and development of the Unique Patient ID (UPI). Ask them to sign on as a sponsor to the repeal of the UPI, as introduced in H.R. 5812 by Congressman Chip Roy (and 8 co-authors) and S. 3124 by U.S. Senators Rand Paul and Marsha Blackburn. Biden’s attempt to mandate vaccinations nationwide is failing in dramatic fashion. Yesterday, November 30, Judge Terry A. Doughty in the Eighth Circuit issued an injunction nationwide against the November 5 interim final rule mandating the shot for health care workers. The only states not covered are the 10 states that received an injuction November 29 by Judge Matthew T. Schelp. Thus, no more health care workers should be terminated or be placed on unpaid leave.

The “No Surprises Act” (which is may end up in a coronavirus/omnibus bill) is an attack on freedom, patients, and the constitutional right to privately contract. This “insurer protection bill” will lead to reduced supply and quality of care. Thankfully, the legislation, announced as a bipartisan bill, has not yet been approved by Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell.

Congress is voting today, July 30, on an appropriations amendment to lift the 20-year ban on a National Patient ID for all Americans. Called a Unique Patient Identifier, the UPI would combine all of your private information, creating a master key that would open the door to every American’s medical, financial and other private data. Each American would be issued a single number. Contact your member of the U.S. House of Representatives today!
