Biden Promotes Reproductive Agenda — Exposes HIPAA and Defies State Law!

The Biden Administration continues to defy reason and logic…and the law. Recently, President Biden proposed the HIPAA Privacy Rule to Support Reproductive Health Care Privacy to shield the perpetrators of and participants in abortion and gender treatment (generally referred to as “reproductive health care”).

The twist?

By tacit admission, Biden’s proposal exposes HIPAA as NOT a privacy rule. This proposed rule would create a new protected class under HIPAA to keep anyone from getting any data if the purpose is to investigate crime or expose data on criminal activity, such as taking minors across state lines to get treatments not allowed in one state but allowed in another.

This proposal would also prohibit hospitals and clinics from refusing to acknowledge the “personal representative” (i.e., school counselor or others) as able to make those medical decisions on behalf of the child.

The federal HIPAA “privacy” rule has suddenly become a threat to the abortion and trans lobby. The government has now proposed a revision of the HIPAA rule to make abortion and reproductive services data a special class of protected data, unavailable to anyone seeking to use it to enforce state laws against abortion and trans surgery on minors.

CCHF is the first to say that this proposed rule highlights the HIPAA hoax, the deliberate deception of the American people.

People getting an abortion likely believe that HIPAA protects the privacy of that abortion,
but regulators know that HIPAA does not protect anyone’s privacy.

To advance their reproductive agenda, the Biden Administration is now trying to give people seeking reproductive, transitioning, and abortion services the privacy that every patient in America wants, the privacy that every patient mistakenly believes they have under HIPAA, the privacy that every patient has a right to.

Now is the time to take action by raising concerns with your representatives on Capitol Hill over this unlawful attempt to promote their inhumane agenda by hiding criminal activity. Congress could hold a hearing on Biden’s plan, cut funding, or more.

Tell your representatives to:

  1. Stop the Biden administration’s proposed rule
  2. Reform HIPAA into a real privacy rule that requires patient consent to share patient information.

To match the “HIPAA protects privacy” rhetoric of the government and to protect patient rights and the constitutional rights of Americans, Congress must reform HIPAA and state legislators must pass their own state medical privacy laws, which will supersede HIPAA if Congress fails to act.

Thank you for engaging in this important battle to block Biden’s dangerous agenda. And
