Dr. Lee Merritt M.D. began her career in medicine at age 4 when she carried her father’s black bag, along the back roads of Iowa. An orthropedic surgeon, she served in the U.S. Navy, is the author of “Surviving the Medical Meltdown”, served on the Board of Arizona Medical Society, is past president of AAPS, a physician freedom organization, and for 40 years has advocated for private practice, cash pay, patient-centered medicine and the Hippocratic ethic.
